Please note this ceramic mug is hand painted and may have very minor imperfections. The holes on the bottom of the ceramic mug are there to prevent cracking during the firing process in the kiln as this is a double walled mug. The holes allow air and moisture to escape, reducing the risk of the mug breaking due to trapped air expanding. This is a common technique in ceramics to ensure durability.

We recommend not putting your cup and saucer in the dishwasher or microwave. To protect the glaze and keep the colours on your pieces perfect it is recommended to only hand wash.
